Google will stand a good chance of getting you at least a couple fixes.
Thank goodness for that one. ____________

I wish the search function was more effective in Synchronet - there have been times I've looked for a fix I read in a message on my BBS and found it on someone else's board in a web search. :(

It's a community and I suppose that's the way it works. You'd be surprised (maybe not) how AI solves tech problems sometimes.

I was trying to setup a sync test system but after comments like those I stopped asking and started a chatgpt project and asking it question which it won't sigh or shrug, it's a matter of perspective, just my humble opinion as someone that returned after two decades and is trying to get people to join to to scare them with bad attitude, my two cents.

    <shrug> <sigh> :-) <grin>

I remember what david's problem was.
He had problems and people told him how to fix them. One of those was nick boel.

David refused to correct the problems. then complained about the people helping him. the people gave him correct information.

some people you just can't help.

it's true, maybe our search needs to be expanded. recently i was able to find old posts where i asked for help with an issue. it was more difficult using the synchronet text search commands. it wasn't THAT difficult. perhaps the search feature needs to be more robust.
