gpg: next trustdb check due at 2025-12-31
What does ""next trustdb check due.." mean?
This one adds two subkeys (ed25519 [SA] and cv25519 [E]), in case
anyone wants or needs to use those more modern keys to communicate
with me.
These turned out to be not very practical. If you use an older gpg (on
an older machine) that doesn't understand them, and use a Thunderbird
(on a newer machine), that doesn't know how to use them properly. So I have removed them from this key. If you have already imported the previous key please remove it from your keyring (otherwise the subkeys will remain, even if you import the updated one):
# gpg --delete-key 4A97932B
gpg --edit-key D50ECD4F514B75DC0A064F893BB37DA84A97932Bgpg (GnuPG) 2.2.19; Copyright (C) 2019 Free Software Foundation, Inc.
# gpg --delete-key 4A97932B
I did it this way..
gpg --edit-key D50ECD4F514B75DC0A064F893BB37DA84A97932B
..then,
key 3
delkey
key 2
delkey
