Good Morning,
I have 2 users on my BBS that cannot connect via my Other BBS Game Server menu to other rlogin accepting BBS's. I am set up so that I have a menu that lets my callers connect to Goldmine BBS and Game Portal BBS via rlogin. All my users but these two can connect without problem. The guy that runs the game portal says he has no record of the users I mentioned. How can everyone else get to the game servers but only 2 cannot. Their profiles look just like the rest. I am at a loss. It is no big deal but I like to understand how things work, or do not work at times.

Is it possible there's a pattern to the different user aliases? e.g. the 2 that cannot connect have 2 words in their aliases, while the ones that can connect have just 1 word aliases?

I did check that and most of my users have two word names. The two guys having problems also have two word names. I will keep researching and let you know if I find a solution.

I had a user that had an issue connecting to one of them because he had an alias that consisted of two names, somehow it boogered the login up.

Most of my users have two part names and get in just fine. First name and last name. For the two that notified me that goldmine bbs and game portal were offline for a while. I hope it works out soon. Thanks and have a great weekend.
