I somehow made it through the last few years never having claimed
Covid. I have had some colds but nothing ever diagnosed as Covid. Are some of us naturally immune to it maybe?
I've had it twice. Both times my wife also tested positive but she
has never been sick... never had a single symptom, unlike me.
i had delta and omnicron.
delta was from a coworker who went to a basketball championship celebration where many many many many people were packed in like sardines. he came back and got us all sick. then with omnicron my job had a guy flown across the country to train us and he gave it to us all. i called that one because he
had the weird covid cough.
covid killed my mom on her birthday in 2020 and my aunt.
I didn't get SUPER sick, more like the flu the first time.
Also i had not had the flu for 30 years and I rarely got colds. Now I get
them all. I still don't really get in contact with big groups of people.
My sense of taste has been altered and i now drink sodas and foods i thought were disgusting before and I can't enjoy spicy food anymore. I still have
some brain fog that i didn't have before covid. I used to pick things up
super quick like a sponge but now it's harder.
I also no longer have a high energy personality where i would occupy myself with hobbies and learning new things. Now i just rest when i get home from work.
This could all be attributed to getting old or whatever, but it
happened right away after getting covid.
